Why we're electrifying our own fleet first

Most companies enter electric mobility as sellers. We are entering it as operators, because we have run our own fleet for a decade, and we would rather prove the economics on our own routes than on a customer's.
Bela Transport moves Purbasha's goods every day: cover vans, pick-ups, and nosimons carrying finished product from Pabna to ports, distributors, and clients across Bangladesh. That fleet is now the pilot for our electric-mobility division.
The operator's point of view
An electric vehicle brochure will tell you about range and torque. A logistics operator asks different questions:
- What does a charge actually cost per kilometre on our routes?
- How does downtime for charging change our delivery windows?
- What is the real service life of a battery under Bangladeshi heat and Bangladeshi roads?
You cannot answer those from a spreadsheet. You answer them by running vehicles, in real conditions, against loads you already understand. That is the advantage of electrifying our own fleet first: every number we eventually publish will be one we have lived.
We have moved this country for a decade. Now we are electrifying it, from the driver's seat, not the showroom.
Converting the fleet in stages
We are phasing the conversion route by route, starting with the short, predictable, high-frequency runs where electric drivetrains are already clearly ahead on cost. Longer-haul routes follow as charging infrastructure and battery economics improve.
Each converted vehicle feeds a growing dataset, energy cost per trip, maintenance intervals, uptime, that becomes the foundation of the products and fleet-conversion services we will offer other operators.
Where this connects
Electric mobility does not stand alone. It shares a battery-and-charging thesis with our new solar division, and it sits inside the same logistics business that already keeps our promises on delivery. The division is emerging, but the fleet it is built on has been earning its keep for years.
We are not asking anyone to take a leap we have not taken ourselves.

Energy
Purbasha enters solar energy
We are commissioning our first rooftop solar arrays across our own factory and warehousing footprint, the opening move in a division built to power industry, not just buildings.

Real Estate
Purbasha's real estate division launches
We are formalising a real-estate division to build where Bangladesh is going, real assets, honest timelines, and long horizons, developed with the same discipline we bring to a factory.
Let's build something that lasts.
