Impact

When it matters most, we deliver.

Purbasha operates as a retail partner in the United Nations World Food Programme's food-assistance operation in Ukhia, Cox's Bazar, delivering accountable food access to families who depend on it.

The work

Running accountable food-assistance retail.

In 2026, Purbasha Trading began operating as a retail partner in WFP-supported humanitarian food-assistance operations in Ukhia, Cox's Bazar. Families redeem their food support at retail shops we run.

The assignment is unforgiving. It demands disciplined inventory control, constant commodity availability, careful beneficiary service, food-quality monitoring, and full transaction accountability, in one of the most demanding operating environments there is.

Every day we manage receiving, storage, dispatch, and shop replenishment; we monitor hygiene, quality, damage, and expiry; and we support point-of-sale execution and incident reporting.

Why this matters

If we can meet the United Nations' standard, we can meet yours.

Running accountable retail inside a UN-supported operation means biometric transactions, controlled stock levels, food-safety monitoring, and zero tolerance for hygiene or expiry failures. That discipline is now part of how we work.

For any institutional buyer, it is the clearest proof that Purbasha can operate to the standards that matter, under real pressure, with full accountability.
