Sales Officer

About the role

Our factory in Ishwardi, Pabna produces over 250 food products to export standard, and our signature muri is made in the middle of the rice country it comes from. As a Sales Officer you are the person who puts that product in front of buyers: distributors, wholesalers, and retailers across the region. You'll open accounts, service the ones we have, and make sure the shelf never goes empty.

This is a field role for someone who likes being out with customers rather than behind a desk. You'll know your territory well enough that when demand shifts, the factory hears about it from you first.

Responsibilities

• Grow primary and secondary sales across your assigned territory for the full food & agro range.
• Open new distributor and retail accounts and keep existing ones well-serviced and well-stocked.
• Hit monthly volume and collection targets, and keep credit within agreed limits.
• Feed market intelligence, pricing, competition, demand shifts, back to the commercial team.
• Represent Purbasha's quality and reliability every time you're in front of a buyer.

Requirements

• 2+ years in FMCG or food sales, ideally with distributor and retail channel experience.
• A strong grasp of the local trade in and around Pabna and the wider region.
• Willingness to travel across the territory; a valid driving licence is an advantage.
• Confident spoken Bangla and clear, organised reporting.
• Higher Secondary Certificate minimum; a bachelor's degree is preferred.
